Though Lilith will likely be different from her Diablo 2 remake counterpart, it isn't certain if the Pandemonium Event is even canon. This may be because of Lilith's presence that causes beast and man to act violently with demons freely roaming the world, or it may be because there are new powerful evils aside from just Lilith. Originally, Inarius and Lilith created Sanctuary as a place free from conflict, though now it seems like conflict throughout its lands is more gruesome than ever. For instance, Lilith originally served the role of Andariel's. It is uncertain what her goal is, but as she helped create not only Sanctuary but the denizens residing in it, perhaps her goal is something related to the two. Lilith had undergone changes in her familial ties in between her original appearance in Diablo 2 and her eventual return in Diablo 4. As Diablo 4 takes place many years after Diablo 3 and Malthael's defeat, conflicts arise as Lilith is summoned forth into the mortal realm. Fans can expect a grittier experience than Diablo 3 while also featuring more toned-down yet interesting characters comparable to the likes of Wirt and Marius.

Though Lilith wasn't introduced in Diablo 2 at its launch or even the launch of its expansion, she was added much later during patch 1.11 in a quest to challenge the strongest players in the game.ĭiablo 4 is described as being more grounded than Diablo 3's story, doing away with the high-fantasy theme that was seen prior. In Diablo 4 Lilith will be the big bad that players may ultimately have to face in the end, but Lilith has also made an appearance in Diablo 2. Her role in Diablo's lore and the creation of Sanctuary is notable, given Sanctuary is the main setting for each of the Diablo games. One Diablo character that is discussed quite often is Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, and Queen of the Succubi. One major point of discussion is the lore between the reoccurring characters throughout the Diablo series and how they may impact future events. Despite the possibly long wait for Diablo 4, it still doesn't stop fans from discussing everything and anything there is about the future sequel.
#DIABLO 2 LILITH FULL#
Diablo 2: Resurrected will release in September and Diablo: Immortal will release later in 2021, meaning Diablo fans will have their hands full in the meantime. Diablo 4 is still far away for fans of the Diablo series, but fans will be getting some Diablo content later this year.
